With three farm locations totaling more than 175 acres, we are now beginning the fourth generation of farmers on Caywood Farms in southern Bradley County. Donald and Nancy Caywood purchased the original farm in 1974. After decades of beef cattle farming, Doug and Jill Caywood have now expanded the educational, catering, event planning and photographic opportunities. From Kids’ Farm Days to hosting community organization picnics, we provide options to share about agriculture in our area, featuring our cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and guineas. In 2024, Jill began operating the farm’s resident food truck, Lil’ Heifer Hut, for catering both at the events on our farm and offsite. Lil’ Heifer Hut offers anything from casual menus to teas and grazing tables. When possible, we include as many farm to table items in our catering. The three farm locations are also open to local photographers for multiple rustic backdrops for family photos, senior photos, or seasonal photos. The farmhouse and grounds are also used for weddings, showers, teas, and mystery dinners. Whether you are looking for a scenic mountain view or rustic barn for photos, a location for a small to medium-size outdoor wedding, a unique experience of a mystery dinner, or a day on the farm with the kids, contact us via the Caywood Farms-TN Facebook page or by email.
