Andy and Ellie, along with their seven children live on their family farm outside of Dresden, TN. Andy is a first-generation farmer, but Ellie’s family has been farming in West Tennessee for generations. The Holt’s farming operation consists of beef, goat, and swine production, as well as custom straw, hay baling, and growing pumpkins. Ellie and the older children have recently begun an outdoor potted plant operation, and the Holts hope to build a greenhouse in the near future to provide another diversification to their farming operation. In addition to their crop and livestock production, the Holts have hosted a Fall Agritourism operation on their farm for the past 14 years.
